Wunderhorse’s new single has dropped alongside the announcement that he’ll be headlining London’s Lexington on March 10^th, 2022. ‘17’ is a gritty slice of indie rock that combines the fuzzy, poppy attitudes of his first two singles into one powerful three-minute experience. He says of the track: “I remember coming back from a party and feeling a bit shit and the song just kind of fell out. It's the oldest song I still play live and so I thought it deserved to get out there.” While he has toned down the sound, you can still hear the influences from his time as frontman of the punk band The Dead Pretties lurking around within his new, Americana-laced sonic palette. -Dan Peeke
